Well Services Engineering Technician - Jakarta

Basic Purpose:
Provide data management, material reconciliation, and cost control support in a safe, legal, environmentally responsible and effective manner to the ConocoPhillips Indonesia Well Operations Group. Be the owner of the data and the data store and then be able to take the raw data and convert it into useful information; such as internal and external benchmarking, probabilistic cost estimations, time evaluations etc. Then in collaboration with the engineers that information is turned in to knowledge. The Technician plays a very essential role in the value creation cycle.
Responsibilities:
• Well Operations Engineering Support
Gathers, compiles, organizes and performs initial analysis of pertinent well data and / or project costs utilized in planning, design, analysis, benchmarking and performance evaluation of capital drilling projects
• Acquires and compiles pertinent technical data from vendors and engineers and writes initial draft of technical specifications as required
• Coordinates daily benchmarking updates and posts accordingly
• Develops, maintains and provides computer support for the Department as well as various computer programs / databases utilized to gather, store and manipulate various sources of drilling well data and information.
• Give full support of other Engineering applications such as WellView, Compass and Wellplan to Well Operations user as available support engineering staff in design work.
• Supports Well Operations Group material reconciliation
• Develops, maintains and provides support for material purchase order system
• Assists in resolving discrepancies between the field estimate and the actual project cost
• Develops and maintains Drilling Office Administrative Manual
• Primary responsibility for well file population & management for assigned wells.
• Standardize AFE: - Align with Global Cost List &and Create a converter to BPMigas format
• Manages department file system in conjunction with department Secretary
• Prepares presentation materials for department
• Coordinates the maintenance of remote rig PC hardware
• Audits electronic and hardcopy file systems bi-annually
• Trains / coaches clerical / secretarial staff for Department

• Activity based budgeting - conduct activity based budgeting to deliver good quality result of Long Range Planning
• Major Forecast - manage actual cost and provide accuracy in current year major forecast
• Implement monthly cost management and review process related to the approved budget - understand exploration and exploitation cost structure and ensure that related function use appropriate charge code, deliver monthly variance analysis, provide cost report for Exploration Leadership Team and Exploitation Offshore and Onshore group.

• Handle Exploration Government Reporting function and ensure timely submission on Financial Monthly Report (FMR), Financial Quarterly Report (FQR), Work Program and Budget (WP&B) Original and Revision to Government Official

Senior Process and Facility Engineer - Jakarta

Basic Purpose:
• Will form part of a multi-discipline team in acting on behalf of the Indonesian state oil and gas company (SKK Migas, the West Natuna Group of Production Sharing Contractors (PSC’s), and Block B PSC in the delivery of hydrocarbon gas to Singapore and Malaysia.
• To ensure integrity of process and asses integrity system to assure proper process control and gas delivery operations.
• Function advises the WNTS management and WNG production teams on issues relating to process & facility.
• Accountable to monitor integrity of total receiving facilities.
• Accountable to coordinate communication between contractors and asset that control the process & facility integrity such as maintenance contractor company, laboratories, etc.
• Accountable to bridge communication between Pipeline Operations and external parties related to process & facility.
Responsibilities:
• Area Scope : Offshore Gas Export System including WNTS and DRF system.
• Ensure receiving facility integrity, including operations and maintenance as well as trouble shooting when there is problem.
• Ensure proper Data Management of the system integrity check including process parameters, inspection and maintenance.
• Ensure high uptime of the receiving facility system
• Drive complete staff work, including front end loading, AFE & funding approval, procurement process, procedure preparation, job execution and completion.
• Is a link between Pipeline Operations and other department in area of Process & Facility Engineering
• Liaise with Singapore or Malaysia government / buyers that may related to process and facility.
• Liaise with COPI Commercial and Legal Group as required
• Liaise with SKK Migas regarding WNTS and DRF operations including budgets and projects
• Liaise with WNG Representatives working on day to day gas pipeline transportation issues and or concerns
• Support Pipeline Operations Manager with WNTS Operation Committee meetings and presentation and quarterly coordination meetings with Petronas.
• Working on normal office basis of 5 days work 2 days off.
• Job requires some travel to Singapore and Malaysia in support of Operations
Qualifications:
• Minimal Education Bachelor Degree, preferably major in process, mechanical or chemical engineering
• Strong in process and facility engineering skills
• Strong commitment, demonstration, and hands-on involvement in Health, Safety, and Environment.
• Self starter with less requiring close supervision. Ability to initiate ideas and implement.
